30 Day Enrichment Challenge
Join in the Enrichment Challenge 2022 and you’ll enjoy learning new ways to enrich your horse’s experience with a fun enrichment-based activity every day for 30 days!
Brand New Challenges
If you’ve taken the 2021 challenge, you’ll be pleased to read that we have added 10 new challenges plus revamped many of the previous challenges. The new challenges are also designed to measure improvements to your partnership over the 30 days.
Limited Printed Awards
Challenges are carefully planned to ensure it’s not ALL about treats and that you do not need to purchase special equipment. You can get creative and re-invent with what you have laying around – from an old sheet to a lead rope. Some challenges involve foods such as fruits, but alternatives can be used for horses with specific dietary requirements.
Enrichment is a great way to present your horse with games and puzzles, new experiences, tastes, sights, and smells – all designed to keep you both entertained.
New challenges are made available each week over 30 days.
You can work challenges into your own schedule. At the end of each week, you submit your challenges, which may be in the form of photos, video or just a few notes you jotted down.
Also, we have a challenge group you can join to share your ideas and talk to other equestrians also completing the challenge.
Once you have completed all of the challenges, you will receive a digital certificate made especially for this challenge (or a printed awards pack if selected).
No, there are no ridden challenges in enrichment. The challenge is suitable for horses of all ages and you can adapt challenges to suit your equine’s level of training.
These challenges are suitable for everyone, including equestrians with non-ridden equines.
Challenges are very popular with all ages of equestrians – children are welcome to take part as long as their account is created and monitored by an adult (18+).
Take the challenge with your friends at the yard to get involved and work together to create fun group enrichment activities – socially distanced, of course.
Click the ‘take this challenge’ button at the top of your screen. You’ll be offered two awards packages to choose from (more information below).
We look forward to meeting you soon.

Many thanks to Equine Academy for their lovely course ‘Enrich your Parternship’ Fudge and l had great fun doing every exercise. I learn a lot about Fudge, myself and how to be a better horse trainer. Thank you 💖🐎💖

My horse and I have had so much fun doing this set of challenges. I have learnt a lot about my horse. He had no worries walking over a tarpaulin but turned his nose up at strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
A great learning curve for us both. 😀
