She started treating horses in training but in recent years has focused on ex-racehorse’s. Kirsty treats and rehabilitates ex-racehorses that have some of the most complex veterinary requirements due to injury and extensive racing careers.
Kirsty shares “I have been inspired by the thoroughbred horse, they are the most genuine, kind and honest horses that love to please and love to work. In return I want to be able to offer courses focused on understanding, caring and training these wonderful horses.“

Courses are available from Levels 1 – 5.
Some courses may have a minimum entry requirement, most likely found in the higher-level courses.
Select courses are accredited through the CPD Service. To obtain certification our courses must meet minimum framework and assessment standards.
It is 100% FREE to enroll as a student with the Academy, you are not obligated to purchase any courses, however by enrolling you can access all of our FREE courses and resources available.
No, all course prices are individual so you can pick and choose what you pay. Long term we think this works out as a better deal for our students.
Yes, courses over €29 offer two options for payment terms.
- One-time payment – pay upfront for your course and nothing else.
- Fortnightly payments – payments are made every 2 weeks in the amount specified on your course. You pay 1 instalment upon enrolling, the next instalment is then due in 2 weeks and the final payment due 2 weeks after that. Payments are automatically deducted from your PayPal account
No, there are no checks made and you will not pay any interest on payments. There is a nominal €1 processing fee, which is added to the total balance.
